Tenor Justin Moore is known to “enchant the audience” with his fantastic voice, charm and natural stage presence. Upcoming engagements for Justin Moore include the role of Beast in Beauty and the Beast. In recent seasons, Moore sang the roles of Cavaradossi in Tosca, Don José in Carmen, and Alfredo in La Traviata with Opernloft. With Staatstheater Braunschweig, Justin sang the role of Baleb in Aladdin, and was featured in productions of Rigoletto, Anna Karenina, Les Brigands, Cavalleria Rusticana, and Pagliacci. Mr. Moore also performed the roles of Vogelsang in Der Schauspieldirektor and Bastien in Bastien und Bastienne with Capitol Opera Albany and sang with the Utah Festival Opera.
Crossing over to musical theater with the Staatstheater Braunschweig, Moore has been seen in productions of Sweeney Todd, Ragtime, and My Fair Lady. Other musical theater credits include Assassins and The Apple Tree with Mercyhurst College.
In concert, Justin Moore has been seen as one of The 12 Tenors in WW Events touring Germany; has sung the Tenor solo in Handel’s Messiah at St. Andrews Cathedral; sang the Baritone Solo in Handel’s Messiah with Butler University; performed the Fauré Requiem with Butler University and sung the part of Joseph in Berlioz’s L’enfance du Christ with Indiana University.
Moore received 2nd place at the “Indianapolis Matinee Musicale” and 3rd place at the “Bel Canto Foundation” Competition in Chicago. Justin Moore was a Finalist in “Concorso Lirico Musica Incanto” and a semifinalist in “Competizione dell’Opera”. Justin Moore studied at Indiana University, where he earned both his Bachelor and Master of Music.
